We are not afraid of going to war against Hausa Fulani people - Nnamdi Kanu

- Nnamdi Kanu said Igbos will not hesitate to defend themselves if need be

- He said it's only Biafra or nothing else

- The IPOB leader said the group was not afraid of going to a war against Hausa Fulani people

Nnamdi Kanu who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said that they are not afraid of fighting against Hausa people in order to actualise Biafra.

According to report, Kanu spoke through Chinasa Nworu who is the directorate of state of the group.
He faulted the federal government for failing to grant IPOB its desired independent Biafra state and warned that if it comes to war, it would “gladly and happily,” go to war again.

He also lashed out at Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state for preaching in support of One Nigeria. He said: “We ask for a referendum to go our separate way, but you, Okorocha and your Hausa Fulani brothers are conversing for war.

“If it comes to that, Biafrans shall defend themselves, we have done it before and we shall gladly and happily do it again.

“Remember that 2017 shall never be compared to 1967-1970. As you summoned the pastors, traditional leaders and your so called leaders also don’t fail to summon the Arewa youths to build bridges over the lives of Biafran in the Northern Nigeria over their quit notice of October 1st, 2017.”

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Hassan, Jigawa state deputy governor disclosed what will happen to Igbos resident in the state if the northern youths insist on sending them out of region.

Reports have it that Hassan made this known while briefing journalist in Duste.

NAIJ.com gathered that he promised that the state government would provide security for the Igbos resident in the state.
